Johnny Depp Denied Appeal In Libel Case
Johnny Depp has lost his appeal against the judgment of Mr. Justice Nicol. The controversial High Court judgment was handed down in November following a libel trial in which Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard's dirty laundry was aired in public, concluding with the judge believing Heard's testimony, saying that it wasn't libellous to call him a "wife beater," and consequentially inflicting immense career damage on Depp.

Zack Snyder's Justice League did its women proud. Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman shined particularly brightly, with the scene in which she dispatches terrorists being one of the best fights in the movie. But we also got to see more of Amber Heard's Atlantean princess Mera, who squared off with Steppenwolf in defence of a Mother Box and came close to stopping him early by sucking the water out of his body with her hydrokinesis.

Capcom is planning to mark the anniversary with Resident Evil Village, two new Netflix TV shows and movie reboot Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City. 47 Meters Down’s Johannes Roberts is in the director’s chair and iconic characters like Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy and Albert Wesker will feature in a plot that adapts both 1996’s Resident Evil and 1998’s Resident Evil 2.

Batwoman Just Brought Back Kate Kane And Recast Ruby Rose
Ruby Rose quitting Batwoman came as a surprise to fans. Her casting was announced with great fanfare and despite some rumors of unhappiness on set, most expected her to stick it out for longer than a single season. But I guess if you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go. The CW eventually decided to rework the show and focus on a new Batwoman: Javicia Leslie's Ryan Wilder.
