Todd McFarlane Says Spawn Reboot Is Still Going Full Steam Ahead

Oh Spawn, wherefore art thou? Todd McFarlane's dream project has been in development for years but despite having a great cast and talented crew, studios have been hesitant to give it the green light. Their hesitation is apparently down to McFarlane insisting that he helms it, though him being a first-time director is working against him. His response to their fears was that he’d minimize that inexperience by surrounding himself with “quality people.” But since then, all we've heard are monthly promises from McFarlane that a big announcement is due soon... which never comes.

Warrior Nun Will Reportedly Make A Major Character Bisexual In Season 2

Warrior Nun has been another hit for Netflix. The adaptation of Ben Dunn's long-running comic series was met with a very positive critical reaction and a second (and possibly third) season is now in the pipeline. Particular praise was reserved for Alba Baptista's lead performance as the divinely super-powered Ava Silva, as well as the kick-ass fight choreography.

After the increasingly busy and intertwined events of the Skywalker Saga, I'm looking forward to Star Wars: The High Republic starting with a relatively clean slate. These will be a set of stories in various media taking place 200 years before The Phantom Menace, allowing it to be recognizable as Star Wars while having new characters and settings. One of the major ideas behind it is that we'll explore a period in galactic history where the Jedi were at their peak.

The very existence of Zack Snyder's Justice League is a victory for fans. Ever since the botched theatrical cut was ridiculed by critics and sank at the box office we've been wondering what could have been. A constant drip of new material allowed us to fill in some of the blanks, much of it originating with Snyder's frequent posts on social media. These have shown us alternative designs for main villain Steppenwolf, entirely new characters like Martian Manhunter and whole cut scenes showcasing Ray Fisher's Cyborg.
