Lucifer Showrunner Apologizes For Season 5 Delay
Lucifer fans should be used to waiting for new episodes, but even they're getting antsy about the wait for season 5. The much-loved show originally premiered on Fox in 2016, but was cancelled in 2018 after three seasons. The fans didn't give up, though, successfully campaigning to get it picked up by Netflix. This second chance resulted in a fourth season which released in May 2019.

Netflix Added 2 Great New Horror TV Shows Today
The sun may be shining, but Netflix just can't help keeping it spooky. One of the best things about their rise to the top of the entertainment world has been their eagerness to greenlight new horror shows. Highlights over the last few years have been Marianne, Castlevania, Dark, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and (in my opinion, by far the scariest) The Haunting of Hill House, which will be followed later this year by The Haunting of Bly Manor.

The MCU Will Reportedly Be Replacing Most Of Its Heroes Soon
Avengers: Endgame truly marked a turning point for the MCU. For the first ten years, stories usually focused on the core Avengers team, but now everything is changing at Marvel Studios. Part of this is down to many of the cast coming to the end of their contracts, with Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. fulfilling their obligations with Endgame and Scarlet Johansson doing the same with Black Widow.

Formerly beloved Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has done a decent job of demolishing her once sterling reputation over the last few years. Now, after a series of transphobic tweets over the weekend, many have written her off altogether. Her bizarre and unprovoked pronouncements sounded more like the kind of stuff you'd read on Breitbart rather than something a cuddly British liberal would say. As such, her massive millennial and zoomer fanbase has dropped her like a hot rock.

Bruce Campbell Rules Himself Out Of Future Evil Dead Movies
Evil Dead fans got some bittersweet news yesterday. Horror icon Bruce Campbell, the face of the franchise since its first instalment nearly forty years ago, announced that Evil Dead 4 is finally happening. In an interview with Empire, he revealed that the official title is Evil Dead Now and that Irish filmmaker Lee Cronin will be directing (having been handpicked by Sam Raimi). The only thing dampening the celebrations is that Campbell has once again ruled himself out of appearing as chainsaw-handed Deadite ass-kicker Ash Williams.
