Batman Beyond is a straight-up killer idea. You take the best bits of the Dark Knight, combine them with a dab of Spider-Man, set it in the future and voila: awesomeness. But despite this, there's been little movement on the franchise since the animated series ended in the early 2000s. Since then, the Batman Beyond concept has been revisited in comic books, but there've long been rumblings of a live-action adaptation of the franchise.

Star Wars Finally Fixes A Big Return Of The Jedi Plot Hole That We All Missed
Many of the decisions that Disney have made with Star Wars are up for debate, but one that I think was objectively right was deciding that everything is equally canon. Prior to Disney, the old Legends universe had tiers of canonicity, with the films being the "most" canon and everything else existing in a kind of vague fiction. But though it may cause a headache to the writers, Disney decreed that every Star Wars movie, TV show, video game, novel and comic they make is as canon as anything else.

Aquaman Star Might Replace Jamie Foxx In Spawn If He Walks
In the tangled tale of Todd McFarlane's Spawn, there's been one constant you can rely on: Jamie Foxx. The Oscar-winning actor is a fan of the character and signed on early for the lead role. His star power allowed McFarlane to argue that the film would be profitable: the key factor in securing that elusive green light. Sadly, however, Foxx's presence hasn't been enough to push the pic into active production and now, more than two years on from the actor signing on to play Al Simmons, there are rumors he's getting cold feet.

First Plot Details For Scream 5 Reportedly Revealed
After almost a decade in development, Scream 5 is finally ready to go before the cameras. The project is being helmed by Ready or Not directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, with series writer Kevin Williamson producing. The plan was to begin the shoot in May 2020 for a release in early 2021, but that obviously isn't going to happen due to Coronavirus. But now we at least have a rough idea of what the plot will entail.
