Steppenwolf Reportedly Returning In The New Gods With A New Design
Justice League had a lot of problems, though one of the most obvious was its dull villain Steppenwolf. Ciarán Hinds did his best, but the character was unthreatening, his CGI was extremely wobbly and he just didn't have any qualities that made him stand out. His flaws became especially apparent when Avengers: Infinity War hit cinemas, with Josh Brolin's Thanos doing the whole CGI alien space conqueror thing right.

The Bermuda Triangle has long been considered a classic supernatural mystery. Across the decades many horror films have seized upon it as a setting, like Satan's Triangle, Beyond the Bermuda Triangle, The Fantastic Journey, The Triangle and uh, Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy!. The loosely defined Triangle is, as its name suggests, in the vicinity of Bermuda, though has a total area of somewhere between 1.3 - 3.9 million kilometers square and is famed for the mysterious disappearances that take place within it.

Viewers Are Furious After Netflix Cancels Two Of Its Best New Shows
Netflix is usually the good guy when it comes to saving shows. For example, they picked up Lucifer after it was cancelled by Fox and even if their original content has a rough first season, they'll often give it a second to see if it picks up a fanbase or improves. That said, they're not always a soft touch: the critically acclaimed yet little-watched Marianne didn't get a second season, so they do have limits. Now it seems they're bringing down the hammer once again, as vampire sci-fi V-Wars and supernatural drama October Faction just got cancelled.

Netflix Crowned Most Popular Streaming Service During Coronavirus
The last few years have seen many pretenders to Netflix's position at the top of the streaming pile. Hulu, Amazon Prime, CBS All Access, HBO Now and YouTube TV have all taken a shot, but so far none have managed to take down the king. Last year it seemed like Disney+ would take a big bite of Netflix's pie. Disney's service came out of the gate strong with The Mandalorian and an impressive selection from the Disney back catalogue. But, in a bit of a scheduling goof, they have failed to capitalize on The Mandalorian's forward momentum with any new content to the same standard.

With cinemas closed indefinitely and public gatherings discouraged, many recent films have cut short their theatrical runs and gone straight to VOD. As such, a fresh new battleground has opened up, as studios begin to examine which movies are performing best in this new marketplace. This brings with it some new competition, as well as a small win for Vin Diesel's beleaguered Bloodshot.

Star Wars Reveals That Leia Wasn’t Always Meant To Be A General
Leia Organa was a key figure in the Rebellion. She was partly responsible for the destruction of two Death Stars, successfully marshaled limited forces against a foe with almost unlimited resources and wasn't afraid to put herself in the line of fire when necessary. As such, it felt natural for her to be General Leia by the time of the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, leading the fight against the First Order and becoming an inspirational figure to those fighting under her command.

Zack Snyder Thinks We May Still See A Dark Knight Returns Adaptation
Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns is the most influential Batman story of all time. For better or worse, the series defined the hero for the modern era and you can still detect its fingerprints in modern comics, games and movies. There were elements of the story in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises and, of course, a whole lot of it placed into Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
