WB’s Reportedly Setting Up A New Aquaman To Replace Jason Momoa
Aquaman was the butt of every superhero joke for years. Mocked as the guy with the power to talk to fish, the idea of an Aquaman movie was seen as a one-way ticket to a huge flop. Then James Wan and Jason Momoa came along and singlehandedly made the character cool. Momoa's take on Arthur Curry was near-universally praised and he can take credit for a decent slice of Aquaman's $1.1 billion box office haul. But it seems that Warner Bros. is already looking for a replacement for him.

Resident Evil 3 Fans Think Nemesis Is Way Scarier Than Mr. X
Last year's Resident Evil 2 remake was easily one of 2019's best games and one of the best features was Mr. X. In the 1998 PlayStation original, he was simply a recurring and tough boss that stalked a few enclosed areas. But by 2019, he'd morphed into a predatory, AI-controlled monster that would relentlessly track you down and brutally beat you to death. Mr X. became instantly popular online and one of the game's signature characters. But now, the Resident Evil 3 remake is just around the corner and Nemesis makes Mr X. look like Thomas the Tank Engine.

MCU Fans Demanding Marvel Fire Evangeline Lilly For Her Coronavirus Comments
Yesterday I wrote about the growing anger directed toward Ant-Man and The Wasp star Evangeline Lilly regarding her stance on the Coronavirus. The story began earlier in the week when she posted on Instagram that she was not observing social distancing and that life was #businessasusual. That annoyed plenty of people, but annoyance spiraled into white-hot anger when she said that she thought the pandemic was overblown and even that it might be some kind of hoax.

Hollywood studios are in uncharted waters. Cinemas stayed open throughout two World Wars and any number of social cataclysms. But Coronavirus has done what they couldn't. Most domestic cinema chains have shut down for the foreseeable future, and many foreign countries have followed the same model. So what does this mean for the year's biggest movies? Well, the first reaction was to postpone their releases. Pretty much every major upcoming pic has been impacted, with tentpoles like Black Widow now without a release date.
