Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Novelization Reveals More Of Leia’s Jedi Training
One of the most interesting moments of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was seeing a brief glimpse of Leia's Jedi training. It was a painfully short scene, but gave fans something they'd been imagining and theorizing about for years. And, even better, the CGI used to recreate Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher for it was near-flawless. It was, for perhaps the first time in the Sequel Trilogy, a moment that felt like it could have come from the Original Trilogy.

Fans Are Demanding Universal Release The Secret Cats Butthole Cut
Some day, perhaps in the not too distant future, we'll be huddled around a burning trashcan telling stories of the 'before-times.' One I'll love to tell the youngsters is how Universal Pictures spent $100 million on a film adaptation of Cats, populated it with nightmarish, cockroach-eating human/cat hybrids and released it to a baffled and terrified public. And now, with the Blu-ray release of the pic imminent, there's another twist to this feline tale.

Watch: First 10 Minutes Of Star Wars Documentary The Skywalker Legacy
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is destined to go down in cinematic history as a big missed opportunity. The plot was nonsensical, the retcons of the previous film were puzzling and the editing made it exhausting to watch. Now, it's available on digital home release (a little earlier than planned due to the Coronavirus), but it might be best to wait for the Blu-ray as the package contains The Skywalker Legacy, which might just make a bad film worth buying.

Disney Set To Take A Massive Financial Hit Due To Coronavirus
The Walt Disney Company is set to take a massive financial hit as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. Multiple aspects of the company's enterprises have been drastically affected over the last few weeks. At the theater, we've seen their major tentpole releases either underperform or face having their release dates postponed. On top of that, this week's announcement that AMC is shutting down all of their 630 domestic locations for at least six weeks will not help matters and in addition, Disney's theme parks and cruise line have also closed.

Not Idris Now Trending On Twitter After Idris Elba Gets Coronavirus
In what I suspect will be a common story over the coming weeks and months, another major celebrity has been struck down by the Coronavirus. This time, as I'm sure you've already heard, it's Hobbs and Shaw, The Suicide Squad and Thor: Ragnarok star Idris Elba. Yesterday the British actor posted on Twitter that he'd been tested and officially diagnosed with the virus and has gone into isolation. Fortunately, Elba is not showing any symptoms, but naturally this is a cause for concern.

It's safe to say that many people are distinctly unhappy with the way the Trump administration is dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic. First the epidemic wasn't real, then it was "just the flu" and now it's the Democrats fault somehow. Whatever the case, it's a fact that in 2018 the Trump administration fired key officials tasked with keeping the country prepared for a pandemic and they weren't replaced. Now, with the body count continuing to rise, a lot of people are particularly angry with Trump and his mismanagement of the situation.
