Pokémon Fan Spots Decades-Old Mistake On The Trading Cards
The back of Pokémon cards are so familiar to diehard fans of the franchise that they probably don't even really see them anymore. The design features the Pokémon logo and a Pokéball that's just about to open up, presumably to reveal the creature on the flip side of the card. But over on Twitter, user @TAHK0 noticed there was something wrong with this design, as he spotted that the Pokéball is opening from the wrong side.

How Sony Can Retcon Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Into Venom’s Origins
With Tom Holland's Spider-Man saying goodbye to the MCU and hello to Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters (they have got to think of a better name than that), it is inevitable that he'll cross webs with Tom Hardy's Venom. So how could this work? After all, in the original comics, Venom's entire origin story revolves around Spider-Man. The character hates Spider-Man because both the symbiote and Eddie Brock feel wronged by Spidey.  The alien symbiote was rejected by Spider-Man its insidious effects and Brock fired from the Daily Globe after Spider-Man exposes one of his scoops as a fraud.

Former Batman Director Says Val Kilmer’s The Best Dark Knight
It's difficult to find a Batman fan who's going to care about Joel Schumacher's opinions. The director of Batman Forever and Batman & Robin is credited with running the franchise into the ground with such ferocity that it took nearly a decade, a complete reboot and Christopher Nolan to revive it. His bad reputation is well earned, despite making some minor classics like The Lost Boys, Flatliners and Falling Down, he decided to go all-in on camp with the Caped Crusader, with the results having aged terribly over the years.

New Joker Trailer Has A Secret Connection To Batman V Superman
The awesome new trailer for Joker has really turned some heads. Joaquin Phoenix looks like he's going to live up to the hype, the politics of the film are absolutely fascinating and there's an undercurrent of menace to the whole thing that really tickles my oysters. One aspect that sets Joker apart from most other contemporary superhero movies though is that it takes place in its own universe. That may change if the pic is a big hit and Warner Bros. decides the Jokerverse is the next big thing, but for now, it may be a one and done drama.

Batman & Robin Is Not A Gay Movie Says Director Joel Schumacher
Everybody should subject themselves to Batman & Robin at least once. No matter how bad you've been told it is, I assure you that the reality is worse. It's a neon-soaked nightmare full of terrible acting, embarrassing costumes, horrible CGI, one of the all-time worst scripts (by Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman) and, despite all that, it's also crushingly boring. But it should be watched, if only to impress on audiences how truly bad a Batman film can be. For all intents and purposes, it killed Joel Schumacher's career as a major Hollywood director and he's even gone on record to apologize to fans.
