Netflix Planning Hellboy TV Show With All New Cast
This week saw the news that Neil Marshall's Hellboy has had an outright disastrous box office run. With the movie raking in a paltry $40m worldwide on a $50m budget, it's being yanked from cinemas and seems destined to end up forgotten and unloved. Given that the reboot was supposed to revitalize the franchise after the two Guillermo del Toro directed movies slightly underperformed, you could be forgiven for thinking that the film will be the last we'll see of Big Red for quite some time - perhaps ever. But dry those hankies, as we're hearing from our sources that Netflix is planning a new Hellboy TV show.

Here’s How Vision Will Be Brought Back To Life In WandaVision
Long before Avengers: Infinity War hit theatres, most fans assumed that Paul Bettany's Vision wouldn't live to see the end credits. Having part of your brain be an Infinity Stone presents a bit of a danger when the (almost) unstoppable Thanos is planning to wipe out half of all life in the universe. Those predictions proved accurate, with the finale of the film a doomed race against time to extract the stone from Vision's forehead. This didn't work out too well, with Wanda eventually having to euthanise her lover - only for Thanos to cruelly reverse time and tear it from his head. All of which makes the news that Vision is returning in the Disney Plus show WandaVision kinda perplexing.

Stan Lee Was De-Aged 45 Years For His Avengers: Endgame Cameo
While Marvel Studios have produced countless films that have entranced global audiences, there's a compelling argument that as fun as these movie are, they're not exactly pushing the envelope technically. But one aspect of the MCU that's often overlooked is how the studio is continually breaking new ground with CGI de-ageing of its actors. The most prominent and successful example is Samuel L. Jackson in the 1990s-set Captain Marvel, but Avengers: Endgame saw a de-aged Michael Douglas and John Slattery (and an aged Chris Evans) and no one batted an eyelid.

Everyone was taken by surprise when Lucasfilm announced that Carrie Fisher's General Leia would indeed play a major role in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Given that the actress tragically died in early 2017, we all immediately began to wonder how they'd go about this act of cinematic necromancy. The fact that we'd already seen a digital Leia in Rogue One led many to conclude that she'd be CGI, only for director J.J. Abrams to clarify that they were planning to assemble her performance from unused footage from The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

Back when they were filming A New Hope in 1976, many of the cast and crew thought that this strange movie wasn't going to be anything special. Alec Guinness famous hated the whole experience, saying "Can't say I'm enjoying the film - new rubbish dialogue reaches me every other day .. and none of it makes my character clear or even bearable". Regardless of your opinion of what went down, nobody can deny that Game of Thrones did in fact end. Long-running plotlines were resolved and Westeros was left in a state of relative stability now that most of your favorite characters have been variously pierced with arrows, crushed by rocks, beheaded and burnt alive. One of the more controversial developments in the final two episodes though was Daenerys Targaryen's quick evolution from spunky desert princess to a genocidal maniac who lost her mind and wiped out a city.

Petition To Replace Brie Larson As Captain Marvel Nears 25,000 Signatures
Captain Marvel - and specifically Brie Larson - has generated an incredible amount of controversy in 2019. Prior to release, the actress made some incredibly milquetoast feminist comments, which were seized upon by more unpleasant fans as ammunition to use against her. This developed into an avalanche of online negativity, which led many to conclude that Larson's feminist posturing had irrevocably doomed the movie and it would go down in history as Marvel Studios' first outright flop.

Sebastian Stan Reveals His Thoughts On Steve Choosing Falcon In Avengers: Endgame
There's a fair few fans that think Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier was short-changed by both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Despite there being much fanfare in the former film about him receiving a shiny new Wakandan prosthetic arm, he proved to play a minor role in the climactic battle of that movie. He played even less of a role in Endgame though, turning up in the colossal final fight to shoot a gun ineffectually and then be overlooked as the successor to the Captain America mantle in favor of Sam Wilson/Falcon.
