Let’s Kill Some Nazis In This New Trailer For HHhH
World War II's Operation Anthropoid has always seemed to be tailor-made for the cinema. Not only is 'anthropoid' a really cool sounding word, but a mission to assassinate a high-ranking Nazi that concludes with just lobbing an anti-tank grenade at his car sounds intrinsically awesome. And so we come to HHhH, the English-language debut of French director Cédric Jimenez which dramatizes the mission and whose international trailer has just been released.

Hope You Liked Rogue One, Because There Are A Lot More Spinoffs In The Pipeline
Rogue One pulled in a gargantuan $1 billion at the box office, and in my opinion, it earned every penny. Prior to release, naysayers were muttering that audiences might not be as engaged with a standalone Star Wars story led by a cast of unknown and untested characters, not to mention that it wasn't exactly hard to work out how the plot would end (spoiler: they steal the Death Star plans).

Robert De Niro Is Uncanny As Bernie Madoff In This Promising Trailer For The Wizard Of Lies
It's going to take a lot of booze to erase the memory of a topless Robert De Niro chatting inanely about smegma in Dirty Grandpa, a film that both horrified and depressed audiences. How could De Niro, arguably the finest actor of his generation and responsible for a decent amount of the cast iron iconic moments in the history of cinema, have agreed to this?! Most concluded that he'd essentially given up on his career, taking whatever easy job came along in order to fund his pet projects. But now there's a faint glimmer of light on the horizon, courtesy of this promising trailer for upcoming HBO original, The Wizard of Lies.

Luke Skywalker Is ‘Significantly Important’ To The Ongoing Star Wars Saga
It's December 2015 and I'm sitting in a theatre very much enjoying The Force Awakens. Han, Leia, Chewie and all the rest have shown up and the plot looks to be rocketing towards a climax. Just one worry remains at the back of my mind: "Where the hell is Luke?" It wasn't until the final shot of the movie that that question was answered, as Rey journeyed to a remote island to find a bearded, robed Luke who looked like a man that's seen a lifetime of sadness. But now that the re-introductions are out of the way, it's nice to hear that Luke Skywalker is to play a critical role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The (somewhat anti-climactic) release of Iron Fist has completed Marvel's small screen crew and they're soon to assemble in The Defenders. With a new promo having been released this week, and a viral website launching, we're seeing a steady trickle of information about the much-hyped street level team-up come our way. As fans of Game of Thrones are by now sick of hearing, 'Winter is Coming.' Wonder Woman On Track For Disappointing Opening Weekend
Warner Bros. has a lot riding on Wonder Woman, hoping that it'll break the DC Extended Universe streak of critical disasters and herald financial viability for female-fronted superhero movies. Unfortunately for them, however, it won't be all smooth sailing. Box Office Pro have now run the numbers and made a very long-range projection on how it'll do: $83M domestic on its opening weekend with a final domestic total of $225M. In other words, a seriously worrying decrease when compared to previous DCEU opening weekends.

Does This Hi-Res Justice League Trailer Really Make It Look That Much Better?
Like everything that comes out of the DC Extended Universe, the recent Justice League trailer split opinions. Despite enjoying Man of Steel, I was enormously let down by the plodding self-importance of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and found myself desperately hoping that its sequel would turn the ship around. Sadly, the trailer seemed to confirm my worries, looking exactly like what I'd feared: a clumsily over-stuffed, slightly garish and vacuous looking film in which quip-spouting superheroes punch anonymous CGI baddies (set to one of the worst Beatles' covers I've ever heard).
