With less than two months to go until Captain Marvel arrives in theaters, it's never been more evident that the marketing for Carol Danvers’ solo debut has done its job, with the movie already beating out many of its fellow Marvel entries in pre-sales.
After the phenomenal box office success of Blumhouse’s Halloween, it’s clear that the slasher saga still has at least one more film in it, and while we’re still in the dark about most of the team involved in the planned sequel, it at least sounds like actor Nick Castle would return if asked.

In fact, William Friedkin, director of the classic 1973 original, seems to have more disgust than ever for Exorcist II: The Heretic, sharing his recollection of the 1977 film when he appeared on The Movies that Made Me podcast.
