About a year ago, DC had quite the full plate: Not only were they knee-deep in their new Rebirth initiative, but they were also waiting to unleash the Suicide Squad movie on the masses. So, being wise, they coincided Task Force X's relaunched book with said film, with a lineup reflecting what was offered on the big screen. Basically, if you wanted more of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Killer Croc and the rest of the crew, all you had to do was pick up a comic written by Rob Williams.
First having been announced as a one-shot, Marvel Legacy has since gone on to become the name of the publisher's new initiative, which, as we recently learned, will pay homage to the myriad of great stories that got us to this point and pave the way for what's yet to come.
For some time now, rumors have been swirling regarding crossovers involving characters from the respective universes established by DC and Archie. And while it remains unclear if this will serve as the first of several mashups or if it'll just be a standalone venture, that doesn't make the freshly announced Harley & Ivy Meet Betty & Veronica any less awesome.
By now, many of you are well-versed in all things related to Injustice 2, the latest installment in NetherRealm's critically acclaimed fighter showcasing somewhat different takes on DC's most iconic superheroes and villains. By now, you're well aware that Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to be a star-studded affair, as is the case with most superhero movies these days. So, aside from having Robert Downey Jr. reprising his iconic role of Tony Stark/Iron Man and boasting a former Batman in Michael Keaton as the primary antagonist, the Vulture, you can look forward to seeing various other heavy hitters from around Hollywood stopping by - even for the smaller parts.

Come to think of it, it seems so weird talking about The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in this context given that the character is being rebooted for the big screen yet again, but at least he's in the Marvel Cinematic Universe now, right? And we wonder why the average moviegoers gets headaches because of this stuff.
