Though Supergirl tells the story of Kara Zor-El first and foremost, it’s pretty much impossible to avoid certain hallmarks of the DC Universe due to her being the cousin of Superman. As such, Tyler Hoechlin has already shown up as Big Blue on several occasions – and will return this fall for the “Elseworlds” crossover – not to mention other vital characters such as James Olsen and Cat Grant putting in appearances.
Even though Legends of Tomorrow once showed us a future that could've been in "Star City 2046," it's important to note how any glimpses into the horizon on that particular series aren't set in stone. But when it comes to Arrow, however, anything revealed via the new flash forwards is what'll truly happen down the road.
When something as beautiful as Batman: The Animated Series boasts over 100 episodes, it can become really difficult to choose a favorite. I mean, when it has classics such as "The Laughing Fish," "Heart of Ice," and "Almost Got 'Im" under its belt, you can see why pretty much everybody experiences their own internal debates to this day.
If anything, tonight's episode of Arrow showed us how the flash forwards are quickly becoming more intriguing than whatever's going on in the present. These days, when I think of Wolverine comics, I often tend to think of Charles Soule. After all, not only did he pen the game-changing Death of Wolverine a few years back, but the superstar scribe followed up that with the critically acclaimed Return of Wolverine to assure the next leg in Logan's journey be done right.
In recent weeks, Arrow viewers have been confounded by whomever is masquerading as the new Emerald Archer. Naturally, Roy Harper is the prime suspect, but others have also theorized that Oliver Queen's son, William, has traveled back from the future to take up arms, though that notion was shot down.
Seeing as how it’s a time traveling show, you could say that no character is off limits for Legends of Tomorrow. Obviously, this extends to the dead, so we’ll just refer you to a guy named Captain Cold if you’re in need of a reminder.
Even with The Flash and other Arrowverse shows having existed for several years now, there are still many more DC Comics villains for The CW to utilize. And to be more specific, we could see more possessing "cold powers" in the very near future.
