Oscar Isaac To Play The Villain In X-Men: Apocalypse
Deadline is reporting that despite rumors that suggested Idris Elba was in line to play the titular villain in X-Men: Apocalypse, 20th Century Fox has now closed a deal with Oscar Isaac for the role, making this the second big franchise that the actor has joined, following his upcoming part in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Idris Elba Eyed For Titular Villain Role In X-Men: Apocalypse?
X-Men: Apocalypse, director Bryan Singer's hotly anticipated follow-up to this year's X-Men: Days of Future Past, won't hit theaters until summer 2016, but with production expected to start sometime early next year we're already being treated to a wave of potential new casting information. This past week we received word that Singer was looking at a handful of actors for younger versions of Cyclops and Jean Grey, and now we've got an update who may play the titular villain himself.

Kerry Washington In Talks To Play Amanda Waller In Suicide Squad?
Warner Brothers' Suicide Squad film doesn't begin production until April, but director David Ayer is already working hard to assemble an impressive cast who'll take on the roles of supervillains-turned-mercenaries. Margot Robbie is all but confirmed to play fan-favorite Harley Quinn, Jared Leto is reportedly up for the role of the Joker, and Will Smith, Tom Hardy and Jai Courtney are all in various stages of negotiations for parts in the film as well. Now, we've got another buzz-worthy name to add to that list.

WWE Superstar Sheamus Wants To Play Venom
A few years ago, it would have seemed outlandish to think of a WWE champion taking on a major role in a superhero movie, but both Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Dave Batista, who play antiheroes Black Adam and Drax the Destroyer, respectively, have proven that it can be done. Now, it appears that current WWE superstar Sheamus (Stephen Farrelly) may join that exclusive club as well.

Gotham Showrunner Talks “Prenatal Robin” And Harley Quinn Plans
Gotham is already overflowing with supervillains-to-be, with more on the way, but what it currently lacks is a glimpse at what heroes may eventually join Bruce Wayne and Jim Gordon in their fight to clean up the streets of the rather nasty titular city. We've of course heard countless rumors about who could show up on the series, from Robin to Harley Quinn and even the Joker himself, and as it turns out, some of those aren't as outlandish as you may think.

X-Men: Apocalypse Shortlists For Cyclops And Jean Grey Emerge
Though much of the cast from both X-Men: First Class and Days of Future Past will return for 2016's trilogy capper X-Men: Apocalypse, there are several major roles that will be filled by franchise newcomers, namely those of present-day X-Men team leaders Scott Summers, a.k.a. Cyclops, and Jean Grey. Though James Marsden and Famke Janssen play Cyclops and Jean in the first few X-Men films, younger actors will take their place in Apocalypse, as it takes place in the 1980s, which is twenty or so years before the events of the first X-Men movie.

Emotions Run Wild In New Inside Out Character Posters
Yesterday, Disney released the first character poster for Pixar's upcoming film, Inside Out, with the promise of more to come throughout the week. Sadness (voiced by The Office alum Phyllis Smith) took center stage yesterday, but this time around we've been treated to four posters featuring the rest of the main cast: Joy (Amy Poehler), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), Anger (Lewis Black) and Fear (Bill Hader).
