First Look At Grant Gustin In Costume As The Flash
It's a good time to be a comic book fan, as each year we're seeing more and more of our favorite superheroes on screen. Mostly, they've been invading our cineplexes, but we're at the brink of quite an increase in superhero content on the small screen now as well. We're already watching shows like Arrow and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and will soon be getting five Marvel series on Netflix, Gotham on Fox, Preacher on AMC, Constantine on NBC and iZombie, Hourman, and The Flash on The CW.

Black Mass Lands 2015 Release Date, Trades Tom Hardy For Joel Edgerton
The production surrounding Scott Cooper's Black Mass has been a bit of a doozy. The movie has been in the works for a while now, first with Barry Levinson at the helm before it hit a few roadblocks. Production shut down completely last May over a salary dispute with Johnny Depp, then started up again earlier this month with Depp firmly back in place as the lead. However, Levinson got left behind and was replaced with Cooper, who then brought on Tom Hardy for a supporting role. Now, we have word that the film finally has a release date, but has lost Hardy and replaced him with Joel Edgerton (who was cast in Hardy's part originally). Phew! Still with us?

First Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trailer Arriving With Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Jonathan Liebsman's upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot has been shrouded with controversy, thanks to the divisive casting choice of Megan Fox as April O'Neil and leaked details that suggested that the Michael Bay-produced project would be abandoning the "Teenage" and "Mutant" aspects of the characters and giving them an alien origin story. Needless to say, the movie is hotly anticipated, if only to see what Liebsman has done with the beloved heroes-in-a-half-shell and if he's managed to not ruin our childhoods.

Kevin Spacey And Michael Rosenbaum Endorse Jesse Eisenberg For Batman vs. Superman
To call the casting for Zack Snyder's upcoming Man of Steel sequel (unofficially titled Batman vs. Superman) controversial would be a monumental understatement. First, the studio shocked (and enraged) audiences by announcing that Ben Affleck would be donning the Batsuit this time around. Then, they chose Fast and the Furious alum Gal Gadot for the part of Wonder Woman. It wasn't long before the actress fell victim to a slew of internet hate, which has now turned its focus towards Jesse Eisenberg due to his casting as Lex Luthor. Though The Social Network actor (along with Affleck and Gadot) may prove to be an inspired choice, for now, the majority of fans are on the fence.

NBC’s Constantine To Be Set In New York, Papa Midnite Is The Villain
NBC's Constantine TV series, based on the popular Hellblazer comics from DC, is quickly picking up speed. It was just last weekend that we heard that Welsh actor Matt Ryan had landed the titular role, which seemed to confirm fan suspicion that the show would focus on a British John Constantine in a US setting. A significant story arc in the comics featured the character spending time in America, and that would be a great way for the network to honor the source material while still appealing to American audiences. Judging by the latest news from Bleeding Cool, that's precisely what NBC has planned.

Frank Miller Already Thinking About Ideas For Sin City 3
Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller impressed audiences and critics alike in 2005 with Sin City, an adaptation of Miller's famous graphic novels of the same name. Based on three of the seven books in the series (The Hard Goodbye, The Big Fat Kill and The Yellow Bastard), the movie struck a chord for its faithful devotion to the original work and its unique color palette.
