Anonymous’ Video Message Warns Sony To Prepare For A New Attack
Anonymous' lynch on Sony is continues once again, this time they are displaying a taste for theatrics, likening their actions to something of a revolution. The hackers have themed their latest message around the film V For Vendetta. Things have been heating up ever since Sony settled the court case against George Hotz, and it appears that ‘Anonymous’ aren’t satisfied with the outcome. The hacking syndicate are continuing to harass and threaten Sony.

Treyarch Says Call Of Duty: Black Ops Escalation DLC Will Offer ‘Distinct Experiences’
According to Mark Lamia from Treyarch, the Escalation DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops, coming exclusively to Xbox 360 owners early next month, will satisfy our need for variety within the game. With five new maps on the cards ranging from some top secret ‘surprise’ zombie map to a team deathmatch in a zoo, players can expect to need another hefty chunk of free time to learn the twists and turns of each of them.

Splinter Cell Trilogy Ditches Multiplayer
I can’t begin to express how gutted I am. As soon as word got round that the original Splinter Cells were getting the HD treatment, the first thing that exploded in my mind was the multiplayer first introduced in Pandora Tomorrow. Many Sam Fisher loyalists had been hoping to hear word from Ubisoft, confirming the resurrection of the fantastic and unique online multiplayer, and with the release mysteriously getting pushed back very abruptly things were looking exciting.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine Gameplay Surfaces
It’s reassuring to finally hear something from THQ about this badass third person shooter. For once the general public MIGHT not laugh at you if you mention Warhammer or Boltguns - simply because this is the first real move away from the PC based strategy games and as a consequence a further step away from the nerdy (and I should say probably unfair) stereotyping of miniature collectors.

Anonymous Warns Sony: “We’re coming”
Self titled ‘Hacktivist’ group Anonymous have been giving Sony trouble all week since they announced that they plan to dish out their own flavour of ‘justice’ in regards to the PS3 court case involving Geohot and Graf Chokolo (who famously cracked several devices). With Sony owned sites like the US Playstation blog, the PC based PS Store, and so on, crashing shortly after the menacing post on the hacking team’s site was published, and intermittent sign out errors on the PSN server, Sony have up to this point been reassuring gamers that PSN is simply undergoing a small maintenance period and ignoring the sudden problems with their websites.

Brink ‘Ready And Able’ Trailer
Once again we are greeted by another informative/noisy/colourful trailer for Bethesda’s entry in this FPS season. Brink is looking to set itself apart from the majority of this year’s competition primarily because of its Team Fortress/TimeSplitters-esque art style. With a bold move toward a more comical and cartoony look, Splash Damage are hoping to break into the drowning category that is FPS with a ground up multiplayer integration ethos, a snappy approximation of parkour gunplay, and a sugar box of sweet sweet customization.

Sony Trying To Find ‘Solution’ To PSN Problem
Following closely after the cyber threat from notorious hacker group ‘Anonymous’, yesterday a number of Sony’s official Playstation websites suddenly crashed and went down - and for those of you who tried to play games online via the Playstation network, you may have noticed the sporadic and unstable connection to servers. Obviously there is a small chance this is sheer coincidence but the fact of the matter is that Sony traditionally gives warning at least a day before a PSN maintenance job – not to mention the synchronised fashion in which PSN started getting problems alongside Sony owned websites.
