Following the release of the first official images from the movie last night, the poster for The Legend of Tarzan has been revealed. As you can see, it features a bruised and bloodied Alexander Skarsgard ready to leap into action. By his side is a massive ape, giving us our first look at the CGI creatures who will also be featured in the film.
Daredevil was a massively disappointing comic book movie, and Elektra was really no better. Both of those failed to get much about the character right, and that's a big part of why fans are so excited to see a new take on the deadly assassin in season two of the Man Without Fear's Netflix series.
Despite previously comparing The Six Billion Dollar Man to a superhero, it sounds like the upcoming reboot is going to be heading in a much different direction. In fact, it sounds like this movie will be more along the lines of the Bourne franchise than The Avengers, something which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Despite having quite a few production setbacks, it looks like David Yates' adaptation of Tarzan is coming along rather well. It's been a while since we've heard much from the film, but today sees the release of the first two stills. The first one shows off our leads, Margot Robbie and Alexander Skarsgård, and the other one features the abs of the latter.
George Clooney has now lined up his next project, and it's arriving in the form of Suburbicon. Joel Silver is producing the noir drama along with Clooney and Grant Heslov based on a script from Joel and Ethan Coen.
After so many years of waiting, it's kind of hard to believe that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is going to be released next week. While Disney and Lucasfilm are living up to J.J. Abrams' promise that they won't spoil the movie in the various TV spots and trailers, they're still giving it a huge marketing push, and that includes a series of character posters.
Marvel has already released an excerpt from a Captain America: Civil War featurette included in their recently release Phase 2 box set, but now some new screengrabs have surfaced which offer up a first look at Paul Rudd's Scott Lang in the movie. We've known since Ant-Man was released that the character would appear here, but it's still amusing to see him hanging out with Captain America in his civvies.
Rebecca Ferguson is blowing up. After doing some impressive work in this summer's Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, the actress is starting to pop up everywhere. Already in the can is the starry thriller The Girl on the Train, and she'll soon start filming The Snowman with Michael Fassbender, not to mention she's been rumored for a role in Alien: Covenant.
Following the shocking reveal at the end of last night's episode of Supergirl, CBS has released a first look at what's to come in next week's Winter finale. Unfortunately, there's no sign of Martian Manhunter (who looked amazingly similar to his comic book counterpart when Hank Henshaw revealed his true identity in the episode), but it does make it clear that Supergirl is going to be squaring off with her aunt in what looks set to be an epic battle.
You might think that Marvel has everything planned out months or years in advance, but based on comments from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, it very much sounds like the decision to include that scene from Captain America: Civil War at the end of Ant-Man was more coincidence than anything else.
