The CW has released the first official images from next week's episode of Arrow, and they feature a whole lot of Constantine! The character will once again be played by Matt Ryan after he appeared in his own series last year on NBC. Unfortunately, that was cancelled after being poorly handled by the network, but getting to see him in Star City almost makes up for that.
The CW has released the first batch of promotional images for next week's episode of The Flash, and while they mostly focus on the show's supporting cast, we also get a first look at Ciara Renée as Kendra Saunders, a young woman who is just beginning to learn that she has been repeatedly reincarnated over the centuries. When provoked, her ancient warrior persona manifests itself, along with wings that grow out of her back, earning her the moniker Hawkgirl.
The CW has released an extended promo for next week's episode of The Flash, and it revolves around the arrival of Earth-2 Harrison Wells on Earth-1. As well as offering some insight into how this version of the character differs to the one we later learned was really Eobard Thawne in disguise, there's a huge revelation included when Wells admits to being responsible for the creation of Zoom.
With shooting set to start early next year, some Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 casting news was expected before the end of 2015, but this first addition is particularly intriguing.
Following that very cool extended trailer, CBS has today released a new promo for next week's instalment of Supergirl. This one focuses solely on the second episode and declares the series "TV’s #1 New Show". That may seem like a bold claim, but it's an accurate one, especially after Supergirl debuted to the Fall's highest ratings this past Monday.
Despite talk earlier today of the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War being attached to Spectre next month, it doesn't sound as if that's the case. In fact, we may have what feels like a very, very long time to wait until we get our first look at Marvel's biggest 2016 movie as, according to Collider, the first teaser trailer will be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Last night's episode of The Flash was very cool, with the focus mainly on the introduction of a brand new Firestorm. However, its closing few moments featured the small screen debut of a villain pretty much no one ever expected to see in live-action; King Shark! The character showed up in in The Flash's official tie-in comic book series, though this one hailed from Earth-2.
There are only a handful of huge releases left in 2015, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is most definitely one of them. Today, a brand new TV spot has been released which teases the "epic finale" of the beloved franchise. It includes some great new footage from the movie, and definitely points to that tagline being true.
