Suicide Squad is one of the most highly anticipated comic book adaptations of 2016, and that's been taken to an all-time high over the past couple of days thanks to a big feature in Empire Magazine. The highlight of their coverage has no doubt been those new images, but the story itself has a very interesting scene description too.
WWE 2K16 is now in stores across North America - it hits the UK this Friday - and a final trailer has been released today to celebrate. As well as even more great gameplay footage, this one highlights all of the cool features this latest instalment of the long running series has, including the three man commentary booth, innovative new moves, and the huge amount of creative components players can toy with (whether's creating a wrestler or your own WWE PPV).
When Constantine was cancelled by NBC, there was talk of the series potentially ending up on The CW. Unfortunately, that didn't come to fruition, and the show failed to find a home elsewhere. Thankfully though, we haven't seen the last of Matt Ryan's John Constantine, as he's set to appear in the fifth episode of Arrow's fourth season.
The Supergirl pilot leaked online back in May, but that didn't seem to have any sort of impact on the ratings last night! There's been a lot of hype surrounding the DC Comics series, and while many fans would have loved to see it on The CW to ensure crossovers with Arrow and The Flash, being on a more mainstream network seems to have done it a lot of favours.
With Marvel Studios now entering Phase 3, they'll finally be launching their first female led superhero movie with Captain Marvel. Warner Bros., meanwhile will beat them to the punch with Wonder Woman, but both of these movies are an undeniable risk.
upergirl premiered tonight to rave reviews, and now a promo has been released which focuses on what's to come in the show this year. As well as a first look at next week's instalment of the series, we also get to see even further ahead than that, with a glimpse of Red Tornado, Kara's villainous Kryptonian aunt, and some intriguing looking plot twists.
With the first season of Gotham focusing almost entirely on the city's gang war, the second has shaken things up with the introduction of the sinister Theo Galavan. As he continues to manipulate the GCPD and Detective Jim Gordon, The Penguin is now in the villain's crosshairs, and his reign as the King of Gotham City could be about to reach an abrupt end!
Gorilla Grodd was a highlight of The Flash's first season, with surprisingly great special effects bringing the psychic gorilla to life in effective fashion for a TV show on The CW.
Amanda Waller is the head of government agency A.R.G.U.S. and the woman who comes up with the idea to assemble Task Force X. She's frequently been portrayed as an antagonist over the years, with recent appearances showing her in an almost heroic light much to the disappointment of some fans. However, the Amanda Waller from Suicide Squad (played by Viola Davis) sounds like a full on bad guy who may just be worse than those on her team!
With the Reverse-Flash wiped out of existence in the season one finale of The Flash, the mysterious speedster Zoom is currently menacing Central City by sending Earth-2 villains to kill Barry Allen. He obviously hasn't had much success so far, but that may be about to change in the sixth episode of season two when he decides to take things into his own hands.
