What he means by that isn’t clear, though it could be that he’s simply referring to the explosion of the particle accelerator on Earth-2. Also of note is Wells telling The Flash that Zoom has “infected” his world, hence why he came through the wormhole. Thrown in a brief glimpse of Dr. Light – a woman in this continuity rather than a man – and it’s apparent that this episode is going to be a big one.

Here’s the synopsis for the episode, which is titled “The Darkness and the Light”:

Barry (Grant Gustin) learns a new breacher, Dr. Light, has come through the portal and sets off to capture her. Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) tells Barry that Dr. Light was not a threat on Earth-2 and that Barry can reason with her. However, during a fight with The Flash, she blinds him and drops some shocking news about Zoom. Meanwhile, Barry and Patty (Shantel VanSanten) go out on a date.

It’s interesting that there’s no mention of Wells there, especially as he’ll clearly be playing a key role in this instalment of The Flash. Regardless, it’s going to be very exciting seeing how this story unfolds next week.
