In news that isn't all too surprising, Deadline is reporting tonight that The Walking Dead has been given a renewal by AMC, meaning that it will return for an eighth season next year. The news arrives a week ahead of the show's return next Sunday, when we'll finally - finally - get to see who Negan's unlucky victim was.
Promoting The Accountant last week, Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick took park in an amusing skit for MTV (see above) which saw the latter dress up as Robin and ask The Batman star and director for a role in the highly anticipated release. While the whole thing may have been a joke, it's since taken on a life of its own on social media.
When it was first revealed that Ghost Rider was coming to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the response was mixed. Most fans were annoyed that the character was being "wasted" on a show which has been struggling in terms of ratings for some time now, but it turns out that the Spirit of Vengeance may be exactly what the series needed.
The CW has released a new clip from Monday's episode of Supergirl, and in it we get to meet Lucas "Snapper" Carr (Ian Gomez) for the very first time. So too does Kara Danvers, though it appears as if the Girl of Steel's boss isn't exactly all that taken with CatCo's latest trainee reporter.
Welcome to the third episode of our new, weekly video show: Geek Out. We all know how busy the work week can be, and in the increasingly crowded space of comic book movies and the like, there seems to be a never ending stream of news flowing out on a day to day basis. Casting this, trailer that, rumor here, speculation there - it really does never end and can get very tiresome trying to keep up with it all.
Regardless of whether prefer Marvel or DC, or fall somewhere in between, it's fair to say that now is a great time to be a comic book fan. Unfortunately, 2016 has been a little hit and miss when it comes to big screen superhero adaptations, but on the small screen, things are looking better than ever.
Tonight's season two premiere of Legends of Tomorrow kicked things off with a bang as we were taken to multiple points in time alongside the ragtag team of heroes as they set off on a whole new adventure. However, they soon met their match in Damien Darhk, and things look set to get even harder for them following that last minute reveal.
Despite the fact that Logan hits theaters next March, 20th Century Fox is very much taking a slow burn approach when it comes to the marketing campaign. Sure, we've had a teaser poster and a string of mysterious images from an official Instagram account, but it definitely feels like a trailer is long overdue at this stage.
It was recently made clear that Supergirl is not going to become part of the Arrowverse, but the Girl of Steel is still going to swoop in for the planned four night crossover event this winter on The CW, which will also incorporate characters from The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow.
The CW has released the first official images from the third episode of Supergirl's second season, and in them we not only get an even better look at Lynda Carter's (Wonder Woman) President of the United States, but also the first shots of Detective Maggie Sawyer. A key Superman supporting character in the comics, she would later become romantically involved with Batwoman.
