When Doctor Strange is released next month, we're going to see a very different side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Just like Guardians of the Galaxy showed us something new when it took us into outer space, this movie will explore the concept of magic and alternate realities as the Sorcerer Supreme makes his presence felt in a major way.
Though many people weren't happy when it was revealed that Ghost Rider would be joining Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., given that it was the Robbie Reyes version and not Johnny Blaze, it seems to have turned out pretty well. We can't argue that it would have been a lot better to see Blaze be the Spirit of Vengeance, and on Netflix, not ABC, but we certainly aren't complaining about how things have been going on the fourth season of Marvel's show.
As you've no doubt probably realized by now, the marketing campaign for Logan (formerly known as The Wolverine 3), is well underway, with the past week bringing with it a whole handful of interesting images and details. From our first look at Professor X to a bloody tease of how the film's R-rating is being put to use, there's been no shortage of things to chew on for fans of the clawed mutant.
With the New York Comic Con now in full swing, brand new trailers are flying out of the convention at an alarming pace. Just a few hours ago we saw the first teaser for Power Rangers, and before that we got new previews of the next instalments in both the Resident Evil and Underworld franchises. Now, as we await the first trailer for John Wick: Chapter 2, Legendary has released a new look at The Great Wall, which stars Matt Damon and Pedro Pascal.
All aboard, for the Power Rangers hype train has officially left the station and is heading straight towards the New York Comic Con with one hell of a package in tow. Tomorrow, during the film's panel at the convention, Lionsgate is set to unveil the first footage from the reboot and anticipation is at an all-time high.
Black Mirror fans have a lot to look forward to this year. At least, if this newly released trailer for season 3 is anything to go by. Arriving with six new episodes and a star studded roster both in front of and behind the camera, it's clear that creator Charlie Brooker has not missed a step with the show's latest outing and we've no doubt that the new season will be, once again, unforgettable.
Supergirl's move from CBS to The CW has led to some budget cuts, but that won't stop the Man of Steel from making his presence felt in the first couple of episodes or some very exciting guest stars showing up. Among them is original small screen Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, and as you probably already know, she's set to play the President of the United States.
At the end of this week's season 3 premiere of The Flash, Barry Allen once again reset reality, and while he was back in familiar surroundings following the events of Flashpoint, it quickly became apparent that not everything is the same. That's clearly going to be an ongoing plot point this year too, as the description for episode 4 reveals that Captain Cold is now alive and well.
Earlier this week, we brought you the first set photos from Marvel and Netflix's The Punisher, the spinoff that's currently shooting in New York City. They didn't show off much aside from star Jon Bernthal with a rather long beard, but it was an enticing tease nonetheless.
