Despite some controversy surrounding the relationship between Batgirl and the Dark Knight in Batman: The Killing Joke, Warner Bros. Animation's latest DC Comics adaptation has been a huge hit, scoring positive reviews and even an impressive run at the box office following a limited opening in North America and the UK.
This Fall, Supernatural will return to The CW for its twelfth season. There aren't that many shows out there which have that sort of longevity, and even fewer which are still excellent. The story of the Winchester brothers remains as enjoyable and popular as ever though, and after being on air for over a decade, they're finally on the cover of Entertainment Weekly.
Say what you will about Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, but both movies had amazing casts. The same can obviously be said for Justice League, with one of the most exciting additions without a doubt Oscar winning actor J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) as Commissioner Jim Gordon.
The CW has released the first official images from the season two premiere of Legends of Tomorrow, and they offer up a first look at...Oliver Queen?! While Green Arrow has made a handful of appearances in the series already, it's fair to say that no one expected the Star City vigilante to make his presence felt in this particular episode.
Whenever a beloved TV show or movie is rebooted, it's common to see some of the original stars make a cameo appearance of some sort. Unfortunately for fans of the original Power Rangers, that won't be the case for the upcoming film.
X-Men: Apocalypse introduced us to a lot of new characters and brought back plenty of familiar ones with different actors playing them, but two heroes that fans were really excited to see were younger versions of Jean Grey and Cyclops. Played by Sophie Turner and Tye Sheridan, respectively, they definitely made an impact in a movie which otherwise received a fairly mixed response.
Following the apparent reveal by Ben Affleck that Deathstroke will be the lead villain in his upcoming Batman movie, fans have been wondering what exactly the future holds in store for Slade Wilson. The villain played a key role in the second season of Arrow, but has since only made one brief appearance in The CW drama.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens may very well have been the most highly anticipated movie of all-time. While some fans ended up being disappointed by J.J. Abrams' decision to pay homage to A New Hope in such a strong way, it was undoubtedly a critical and commercial success, but there's one major downside to that: how can future Star Wars movies ever top it?
At this point, it really doesn't matter whether you love or hate the Transformers movies. Paramount has found a formula which works for them (the box office numbers are proof of that), and it's one they clearly intend to stick with, hence why Michael Bay is back to direct a fifth instalment of the franchise with Transformers: The Last Knight.
While many regular moviegoers may not realise this, Fox's Marvel Universe (revolving around the X-Men and, er, Fantastic Four) is completely separate to Marvel Studios' Marvel Cinematic Universe. What that means is that Deadpool took place in a completely different world to the one the likes of Captain America and Spider-Man call home.
