We've had several behind-the-scenes glimpses into the production of AMC's small screen take on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's controversial comic series, Preacher, but this is our first proper look at some of the principal cast members, namely Joseph Gilgun and Ian Colleti, in wardrobe as their characters.
Actors praising the upcoming movies they're set to appear in is not exactly surprising, and it's something they do from time to time even when they know they're not being completely honest about the quality of the film. That being said, Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice's Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor) has always come across pretty direct in past interviews and doesn't seem like the type to dole out any undeserved niceties without even being prompted to do so.
Might we see Grand Moff Tarkin return to a galaxy far, far away? We just may, if the Daily Mail Online is correct. According to them, Peter Cushing will indeed return as the ruthless Grand Moff Tarkin for Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Yes, the legendary actor passed away back in 1994 at the age of 81, but death clearly isn't quite the handicap it used to be in Hollywood.
It must be Hollywood blockbuster wrap week! Following the news that Marvel's Captain America: Civil War and Roland Emmerich's Independence Day: Resurgence have finished up production, director Bryan Singer has officially announced that the cameras have stopped rolling on the main unit of X-Men: Apocalypse. Apparently, the second unit will continue to film until September 4th, but for most of the cast and crew, it was wrap party time.
Our new Joker definitely seems to be fully embracing the madness of his iconic Suicide Squad character, as he continues to inflict present gifts to his fellow Task Force X members. First Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) received a live rat, then Will Smith (Deadshot) was sent a box of bullets, and now Jay Hernandez (El Diablo) has to deal with a letter addressed to his character, a deck of Joker playing cars, and whatever the hell is wrapped up in that newspaper!
When it was first announced that James Frain (True Detective, True Blood) was set to join the cast of Gotham season 2 he was identified as one Theo Galavan: brother of Tabitha (Jessica Lucas), who we were told would be introduced as a version of DC villain, Tigress. Because of the unfamiliar name, it was assumed that Theo would be another character created just for the show, but it seems that may not be the case.
Just in case you haven't been keeping up with the build-up to this slightly odd cross-promotional event, here's some background: Arrow star Stephen Amell is a massive WWE fan, and recently they've allowed him some TV time to engage in a feud Stardust - the supervillian-like alter ego of Cody Rhodes.
This groovy new poster for Starz's upcoming Ash Vs. Evil Dead TV series sees the iconic stock boy of the title (Bruce Campbell) standing atop "the Classic," trusty chainsaw at the ready. Also featured are Ash's sidekicks Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana Delorenzo), who look like they've been indulging in a bit of Deadite-dismembering themselves.
