Gotham has made a point of giving us origin stories for many of Batman's most recognizable comic book foes (such as Penguin, the Riddler, and Catwoman), but they've also debuted a few characters who were created just for the show, such as Fish Mooney. The latest bad guys to join the fray will also be a new creation. He's named Joe Pike and will be brought to life by former Wire alum Leo Fitzpatrick, who you may also remember as Telly in Larry Clark's Kids.
When Heroes Reborn was first announced, we were told that the story would focus on an entirely new cast of characters. Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) has been out of the picture for a while, so it looks like it's time for Thea Queen (Willa Holland) to find herself a new beau. According to ET Online, that's going to be a character created just for Arrow named Alex Davis, who'll be played by Parker Young (Suburgatory, Enlisted). Davis is described as "a smart and driven young man, who will work for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and become a potential love interest for Thea."
Clearly getting a little bored of mopping the floor with her opponents in the Octagon, UFC fighter Ronda Rousey has been preparing to switch her focus more to the big screen. Having already appeared in the likes of The Expendables 3 and Furious 7, it seems like the rowdy one might be looking to branch out a bit more, and what better way to make a name for yourself than starring as Marvel's first female headliner, Captain Marvel?
