As expected, Warner Bros. has teased tomorrow's new Wonder Woman trailer by releasing a quick sneak peek via social media. It doesn't show much, but gives us yet another look at the iconic character's powers as we see her being trained in secret by her aunt, General Antiope (Robin Wright).
There's a lot to look forward to with James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which hits theaters in just a few short months. May 5th is the date for your diaries, and as we inch closer towards its release, the cast and crew are beginning to spill more on what to expect. While promos and trailers have painted a very promising picture, it seems that there's still a lot being held back, including what some of the more minor characters will be getting up to.
It's been a busy, busy week for the Merc with a Mouth - and we wouldn't have it any other way. After debuting the first promo for Deadpool 2 alongside Logan, 20th Century Fox capped off what's been a very exciting past couple of days by finally - finally! - announcing who'd been cast as Domino in the highly anticipated sequel.
After a few months of radio silence, it was recently announced that Bryan Fuller’s highly anticipated small-screen adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods would premiere on Starz on Sunday, April 30 at 9:00 P.M. Before that, though, the show will receive its world premiere at this month's SXSW festival, and in anticipation of its debut, we now have a new batch of images, spotlighting some of the old and new Gods that we'll be formally introduced to next month.
The second season of AMC's small-screen adaptation of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's controversial comic series, Preacher, began shooting about a month ago, and we've just got our first offcial announcement regarding the new faces we'll be seeing join Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy on their insane adventures across America.
It's been a long time coming, but the next, and presumably final trailer for Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman will finally be with us this weekend. Though many expected it to storm into theaters on Friday alongside Kong: Skull Island, it's actually going to be debuting in a far less likely place: at the Kids Choice Awards this Saturday, which will air on Nickelodeon.
Despite their status as one of the best when it comes to animation, Pixar has certainly had more than a few stumbles along the way. It's no secret that perhaps one of their weakest efforts was Cars, which was followed up by the even worse Cars 2. As such, it's definitely a bit surprising that the studio is moving ahead with a third instalment in the series, but given that this is Hollywood - where money talks - I suppose it makes a bit of sense.
Last weekend, 20th Century Fox lit the internet on fire when they dropped the first teaser trailer for Deadpool 2. In truth, it was really more of a promo, but still, it gave us a brand new look at the Merc with a Mouth, presenting a wildly entertaining scene that featured more than a few easter eggs and even a Stan Lee cameo. However, it wasn't the exact same footage that was shown in theaters alongside Logan.
In a movie full of them, Dafne Keen's Laura/X-23 is definitely a major highlight of Logan. The young actress is completely silent (aside from her primal battle cries) for over half the film, but says all she needs to with nothing more than a glance or a rare smile. For this reason alone, many fans look forward to Keen reprising the role at some point down the road, although the manner of Laura's return is still up in the air.
Ever since 20th Century Fox dropped the first promo for Deadpool 2 along with Logan last week, all eyes have turned to the Merc with a Mouth's sequel. Though early reports painted a worrying picture - what with the departure of Tim Miller and Junkie XL, not to mention some scripting problems coming up - thankfully, things look to be back on track now and with the film gearing up for production this spring, casting news is heating up.
