‘That man loves me so much’: Meghan Markle is proud Prince Harry ‘slayed the dragon’ for her

There is a lot that Meghan Markle gets blamed for – Prince Harry leaving the palace, the increasing frigid coldness between him and King Charles, and Prince William’s rumored animosity with his brother, even when he is miles away from him. But the Suits star doesn’t care what the world has to say as her husband remains by her side and “slayed the dragon” for her.

There is indeed a lot that Prince Harry has done and fought for his wife. He went against the British media for their racist and negative presentation of her. He didn’t let the palace politics keep her stuck in a spiral of depression and separated himself from his family. He is fighting his (already lost) security battle in England just so Meghan and his kids are safe and protected when they go there. He battles a gazillion rumors aimed at him and his family, not letting them affect their life in the slightest. All that while he focuses on his humanitarian work and other ventures.

So when the Duchess of Sussex appeared on The Jamie Kern Lima Show and talked about her marriage, she couldn’t help but gush about Harry.

“It’s not something to be taken for granted when you have a partner, a spouse, who is just so behind you. H, that man loves me so much. Look what we’ve built? We have a beautiful life, we have two healthy, beautiful children.”

I always think about it like the end of Super Mario Bros. When you get to the final, final level and they go, ‘Slay the dragon, save the princess.’ I’m like, that’s my husband.”

Is that just an analogy, or is she hinting at someone in particular when she says “dragon?” Maybe. But no worries, we will know soon enough after so-called royal experts sit down to tear apart her statement and micro-analyze her minute expressions while she was saying it.

But as far as Meghan is concerned, she doesn’t have the time or the need to be afraid of these calculations – she has a committed, loving, and responsible partner who is “constantly going to do whatever he can to make sure that our family is safe and protected.” And between all these responsibilities, he makes sure to schedule date nights while the naysayers out there are picking on his body language to predict how soon the couple will be headed towards divorce.
