Disney Jollywood Nights holiday event: How to buy tickets and what’s included

All the important dates in one place.

Disney World has finally announced its Holiday event for the season and “Jollywood nights” sounds like an absolute must for any Disney lover this winter. The event, which runs from Nov. 11 through Dec. 20, is set to be “brimming with red-carpet moments, Hollywood vibes, glimmering décor, and fantastic photo ops.”

Despite spanning two months, Jollywood Nights only runs for ten days and tickets are limited, so be sure to jump in the online queue as soon as they come up for sale on July 6. Only ten dates are available to choose from.

  • Saturday, November 11
  • Saturday, November 18
  • Monday, November 20
  • Monday, November 27
  • Wednesday, November 29
  • Monday, December 4
  • Wednesday, December 6
  • Saturday, December 16
  • Monday, December 18
  • Wednesday, December 20

The events run from 8:30pm to 12:30am, but ticket holders can gain entry into the park at 7pm.

Tickets can be purchased here and are only valid for the after-hours events, so any Disney goers who intend to spend a day and night at the park still need to purchase a regular day pass in addition to the $159 – $179 tickets.

Though there is still plenty of information Disney hasn’t released and each piece of information we have is subject to change, there are several key phrases that may help parkgoers dress for the occasion. The site throws around words like, “Jazzy” and “Soiree” so make sure you pack your Gatsby-esque best! It seems like the park is aiming for a dance party, with much of the language focusing on dancing, glimmering décor, and Instagramable moments.

In addition to a plethora of photo opportunities, there will be an absolute smorgasbord of Disney entertainers like Kermit the Frog, Princess Tiana, Belle, and plenty more of the most beloved characters. Disney will be serving specialty cocktails for the occasion as well as delicacies from around the world from delectable desserts to international regional favorites.

Certain rides will be available after hours like the Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster, Slinky Dog Dash, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. As an added bonus, the after-hours rides will have virtual queues so guests can spend more time on the dance floor and less time waiting in line.

As the event gets closer, Disney promises to share a bit more about what exactly the festivities will entail, but the overall theme seems to be a high-class holiday jamboree. Check back for more details.
