10 Characters We’d Love To See As DLC In Injustice 2

Unless you've been hiding under a rock or playing exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, you should know that Injustice 2 dropped on May 16th – and it's one of the best fighting video games in a long, long time. In my fellow colleague's review of it, he described how "its feature set is among the best in the genre, and there's plenty of reasons to keep playing even after the story ends." Yip, that's a pretty good summary of how we feel about it.

Man, why the hell do we not have Deathstroke in Injustice 2? Someone needs to have a word with Ed Boon and his team about their priorities, because this is as big a travesty as Midway forgetting about Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat 3.

From his Sword Flip to the Eye for an Eye, the deadly assassin had all the best moves and became one of the most popular characters in Injustice: Gods Among Us. We like to think of him as the Scorpion of the series, with the perfect blend of speed and power attacks to kick seasoned players’ asses without breaking much of a sweat.

Since Deadshot is already in the game, maybe there’s still a chance for a mini mercenary reunion here with future DLC. It just seems unlikely that DC and NetherRealm would exclude one of their biggest stars from this release altogether. Frankly, it would be stupid if they did.
