10 Characters We’d Love To See As DLC In Injustice 2

Unless you've been hiding under a rock or playing exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, you should know that Injustice 2 dropped on May 16th – and it's one of the best fighting video games in a long, long time. In my fellow colleague's review of it, he described how "its feature set is among the best in the genre, and there's plenty of reasons to keep playing even after the story ends." Yip, that's a pretty good summary of how we feel about it.

In case you missed it, designer Marco Nelor recently shared some concept art on his Instagram page showing what Static would’ve looked like in Injustice 2. The designs are incredibly stylish, but for some unknown reason, the character was cut from the final release. Boo!

Seeing as he’s already been “created,” maybe there’s the chance that NetherRealm will reconsider adding him into the game at a later stage. The latest news is that he won’t even cut it as a DLC character, but we can only hope that the fan outcry will persuade the developers to change their minds about this.

There’s a whole generation of fans waiting for Static to battle it out with Robin mano e mano. Naturally, we’ll be rooting for him to beat the snot out of Damian and teach the Boy Blunder a lesson in manners.
