10 Characters We’d Love To See As DLC In Injustice 2

Unless you've been hiding under a rock or playing exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, you should know that Injustice 2 dropped on May 16th – and it's one of the best fighting video games in a long, long time. In my fellow colleague's review of it, he described how "its feature set is among the best in the genre, and there's plenty of reasons to keep playing even after the story ends." Yip, that's a pretty good summary of how we feel about it.

The Atlanteans are well-represented in Injustice 2 by their king, Aquaman, but where’s their queen? Mera isn’t meant to sit peacefully on her throne, doing her nails and watching her man go to war. No, she’s just as ready as anyone else to throw down with the likes of Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Supergirl.

Considering the hype for 2018’s Aquaman, you’d think this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce the character in the series and generate some more excitement for her. Especially since we know she’ll have a major part to play in Arthur Curry’s forthcoming underwater adventure.

Well, the Fighter Packs are coming, so there’s the possibility that more Atlanteans are on the way. Hopefully, one of them will contain Mera in it.
