10) Colonel Herzog

What could be more fun than playing as an unstoppable Nazi zombie who will destroy anyone who happens to have a piece of the gold treasure he constantly protects? Well, if any of the Mortal Kombat fighters accidentally/purposely stole Herzog’s loot, we’d find out pretty quickly that controlling this undead militant would be something special. He uses a bevy of weapons, but nothing beats some down-and-dirty fisticuffs and old-war fighting techniques. Plus, he’s a Nazi zombie – he’s built for Netherrealm.

Herzog’s troops follow him anywhere, so I’m sure a fatality or two could use the addition of his squad. Maybe Vergard’s dismemberment, or the machine-gun-mounted snowmobile? These moments would provide some pretty spectacular visuals during a cut scene, much like any tricks from the Colonel’s arsenal. Hell, find a way to incorporate the tank Herzog rides in during Dead Snow: Red Vs. Dead, and you have an epic fatality that might be among the franchise’s best. Netherrealm wouldn’t know what hit it!
