12 Video Game Amusement Parks That We’d Never Visit

The sixth and final board of Mario Party 2, Bowser Land is an amusement park modeled in Bowser’s own image and, by extension, the opposite of fun.

According to its reversed mechanics, banks lend out money you didn’t ask for, but force you to pay them back in full while Koopa kids sell you items whether you like them or not. Worse, happening spaces now shoot you clear across the other side of the board as a marching parade mugs you and throw you back to the start. Jerks.

It’s to this end that Bowser runs around the board leading you on a wild goose chase until you challenge, defeat, and send him hurtling across the world just so you can be on your way.

Talk about a host who won’t quit.
