In fact, there’s even been some talk that it might one day dethrone Fortnite, and though it very well may go on to do so, for now, there’s still quite a bit of life left in Epic Games’ smash hit. Still, Apex is off to a fantastic start and the best is yet to come, as we haven’t even received the first Battle Pass.

It is on the way though, rest assured, and a new report from Daily eSports alleges that it’ll be here as soon as March 12th. Granted, Respawn has yet to confirm this, but here’s what the outlet had to say:

“The Battle Pass will not be purchasable with coins, and will be a static item in the shop. Octane is a central promotional figure for the pass and thus should be released either alongside the Battle Pass or just before it.

This lines up with everything we’ve been hearing lately and as such, we have no reason to doubt that what Daily eSports is telling us is genuine. After all, we already know that Apex Legends’ first season of content is due to arrive this month and Octane has been heavily rumored as the first new character that we’ll be meeting. And again, though Respawn hasn’t confirmed his inclusion in the game yet, we’re fairly certain that he’s on the way.

For now, though, we’ll just have to sit tight and see what the developer has planned for Apex Legends, but if they really are planning to kick things off on the 12th, then we should know more over the next few days. Stay tuned.
