4) Yoda

Despite his appearances in the original trilogy mostly showing Yoda in ill-health due to his old age, he was still initially powerful and clever enough to deceive Luke Skywalker and to eventually train the young Jedi in the ways of the force. Yoda was also undoubtedly one of the greatest force-users ever to have lived, and could still make a useful – if temporary – return for the purposes of the game.

Since Yoda’s power was one of the greatest to have been recorded for a Jedi, his use in the game could be subject to a time restraint over the other heroes. It would make sense that, given his age, Yoda may only be able to recall his strength for a short time in order to attempt to turn the tide of battle. This in turn would mean that players would have to be far more tactical about when they decided to call on him.

While many may say it is simply worth employing the master’s strength from the prequel trilogy, this would hardly fit into the atmosphere and timing of Star Wars Battlefront, and so a measured, limited inclusion could be the way to strike a perfect balance.
