3) 7 Day Survivor – Dead Rising
Dead Rising’s post game Infinity mode is a survivor-like bonus addition that adds a whole new element to its gameplay. Essentially, your health continually depletes, and in order to survive players must eat and drink food located around the games map. You’ll last 20 minutes before the entirety of your health is depleted, and the idea is to survive as long as possible for maximum points.
It’s a really neat addition to the game, but the developers added a mercilessly difficult achievement to wipe the smile off player’s faces. 7 Day Survivor requires you to survive for a week in Infinity mode. That translates to roughly 14 hours of real game time, without any saves or checkpoints, and players will need to beat it in one sitting.
Suddenly it isn’t such a fun mode anymore, eh?
