7) The Mile High Club – Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Ah, the Call of Duty game that launched a global phenomenon. The original Modern Warfare had some extremely tough levels when playing on veteran difficulty (another spate achievement), but the game’s Mile High Club achievement is easily its most difficult.

The achievement itself is an easy one to miss given that it is actually a bonus campaign mission only available after completing the mission “Game Over” and watching the credits until the very end. Following on from there, players can attempt the mission, but beating it is a tall order.

To pop the achievement, players will have to clear out an airplane full of 30 enemy terrorists in only 1 minute. It’s a savagely hard challenge that will push even the very best gamers to their limit.

With the recent announcement that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be included as an HD remaster in the series’ next instalment, players will undoubtedly be eagerly awaiting the achievement list to see if Mile High Club will, once again, haunt their dreams with its difficulty.
