Ding, ding! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner! If you’re searching for a badass actor who strikes the fear of God into everyone when he’s on screen, look no further than Jackie Earle Haley.

While it’s easy to reference his outstanding performance as the unhinged Rorschach in Zack Snyder’s Watchmen, we’d prefer to consider his appearance as Freddy Krueger in 2010’s A Nightmare on Elm Street reboot. Sure, the film was a pile of sticky doggy doo on wet grass, but Haley’s Freddy forced us to change our pants more than a few times. Never had we seen such a harrowing portrayal of Freddy (sorry, Robert Englund) until this film’s release.

Now, imagine Haley as Kasady, murdering and terrorizing the citizens of New York City and having a fat chuckle about it. Can you see it? Of course you can, because he’s got that crazy look in his eyes and the murderous twitch in his fingertips.
