4) Elle Fanning
Elle Fanning has been acting for a long time, and despite being only 18 years of age, she already has a long list of very impressive performances under her belt. However, despite memorable turns in everything from Maleficent to Super 8 and Trumbo, it still doesn’t feel like Fanning has had the starring role which has helped propelled many of the other actresses here onto the A-List.
Playing X-23 could change that though, especially as it would lead to her having to undergo quite the transformation in order to convincingly portray the initially deranged clone of Wolverine. Should this role work out for her, Fanning could also be looking at her own spinoff or even a starring role in the X-Men franchise.
It would be an unexpected, but potentially great bit of casting.
