Now, here’s an interesting one. On March 17th, The 100 star Lindsey Morgan posted an “ecstatic” tweet about a new project she had on the horizon:

Then, when the news broke about Joss Whedon’s Batgirl movie, Morgan re-Tweeted several outlets’ posts about it. Word quickly spread and many tweeted that they would love to see the actress, most famous for playing Raven Reyes on the dystopian TV series, in the role. Some of which Morgan has also re-Tweeted.
First, we have to say that there’s a big possibility Morgan’s “new project” and her interest in Whedon’s Batgirl are unrelated, but it has made us realize that Morgan would actually be a terrific candidate. As well as having a history of playing brave and clever young women, Morgan is basically the right age for the part at 27-years-old and her half-Mexican heritage would do something to diversify the Bat-family.
