3) Kate Winslet
Another actress it may have once been tough to imagine starring in a comic book movie, Kate Winslet would be a welcome addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After heading into the blockbuster realm with the underwhelming Divergent, Winslet bounced back with some serious Oscar buzz thanks to her performance in Steve Jobs, and it’s that kind of flexibility in the roles she takes on that arguably makes her such an interesting choice for The Wasp.
Maybe it’s just me, but I find it very easy to imagine the actress having a lot of chemistry with her on screen daughter Evangeline Lilly, and Winslet has the kind of presence around her which would make her being part of this movie feel like a very big deal, especially as she’d lend the role some real gravitas.
