After what feels like eons of waiting, the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War is finally here - and it's just as epic and thrilling as we had hoped for! Packed full of Avengers, action, an ominous tone and lots of intriguing teases for what the movie holds, it doesn't drop too much all at once, as it saves quite a lot for future trailers and the actual film itself. For instance, the union of all of the heroes and a bigger role for the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The bad stuff really hits the fan next, when Thanos unleashes his army on Wakanda. And it seems he’s enjoying mowing the Avengers down. “Fun isn’t something one considers when balancing the universe,” the big guy chuckles. “But this… does put a smile on my face.”

But let’s hold off talking about the big fight for a moment and focus on the scene which shows Thanos armed with his Infinity Gauntlet – which features two of the Infinity Stones! Immediately preceding this, we see Thanos attacking Vision, seemingly trying to remove the Mind Stone from his head. The impression is that he’s succeeded.

However, if you pay attention, the Stone Thanos adds to the gauntlet is blue, not the yellow Mind Stone. It’s likely, then, that this is the Space Stone instead – the one that’s housed inside the Tesseract, that Loki likely gave to him earlier in the trailer. Despite what the preview suggests, then, Vision is probably OK.

So, what about the purple one that’s already in the gauntlet? That’s the Power Stone, otherwise known as the Orb, which was last seen in the Collector’s collection on Knowhere. In fact, a leaked scene that dropped online earlier this week captured the moment where Thanos attacks the Collector and retrieves the Power Stone.
