10) An Apocalyptic Vision

Apocalypse is the most dangerous threat the X-Men have ever faced, and the trailer immediately makes it clear that if the ancient mutant’s plan succeeds, the world as we know it will be destroyed.

It emphasizes that with images of widespread devastation, but by far the coolest reveal here is the fact that we then see that those are Jean’s visions. The events of X-Men: The Last Stand may have been wiped from continuity, but the young mutant is clearly still every bit as powerful as that version of the character.

Will we get a glimpse of the Pheonix here? It would be a missed opportunity to not attempt to redo that story arc after Brett Ratner messed it up like he did.
