10 Most Awesome Moments From The X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer

This week saw the long overdue release of the first trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse (which you can see above). The first footage from Bryan Singer-directed movie premiered at this year's San Diego Comic-Con back in July, and after leaking onto the web, fans were left wondering if Fox would follow it up with an official version like Warner Bros. did with Suicide Squad. At the end of X-Men: Days of Future Past, we got to see a young Apocalypse being worshipped in Ancient Egypt as he constructed the pyramids and his Four Horseman looked on. Seeing as the trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse includes a shot of Egypt, chances are that we’ll be spending some more time with a young Apocalypse or at least when he was at the height of his power.

The comics have explored this period of his life a fair bit, but Bryan Singer has the opportunity to really pick and choose what he wants from that period of the villain’s life, and that’s going to be very exciting to see play out. How it relates to what’s happening in the present day is also incredibly intriguing.
