7) The Mutant Race’s New Leader

Based on what we’ve heard in the past and what we see in this trailer, Apocalypse’s grand plan is to wipe out the human race in order to create a new world for the mutants. However, his desires are no doubt selfish, too, as he wants to be worshipped as a God.

Hearing Apocalypse dismiss Professor X as a “blind leader” is very cool, as is the fact that he manages to recruit Magneto to his cause. If even the Master of Magnetism is willing to go from leader to follower, then Apocalypse is clearly someone who a lot of mutants are going to rally behind. While we already know about the Four Horsemen, it will be very surprising not to see more of them join his cause here.
