Next up, Steve Rogers begins a moving speech as we get a glimpse of how a few of the survivors are holding up following the Decimation. Note that Cap’s words neatly apply to who’s on screen at that point.

“We lost, all of us,” he begins, as Thor appears. You could say that the God of Thunder has lost all of his people, as Thanos wiped out half of the Asgardians in Infinity War, many of whom have also probably died following the Decimation. What with losing his homeworld in Thor: Ragnarok, no wonder he’s looking so glum in this clip we see of him, having swapped his armor for some everyday Earth clothes.

Steve continues by saying, “we lost friends.” This plays over a clip of Nebula alone on what looks to be the Guardians’ spaceship, as she touches some clothing that presumably belonged to her fallen sister Gamora. When we last saw Nebula, she was the only other person left alive on Titan with Tony. It’s unknown why they didn’t leave the planet together, but then again, she’s never been the most compassionate of people, so maybe she deliberately left him there.
