10 Characters We Need To See In The Deadpool Sequel

2) Wolverine

With Hugh Jackman’s tenure as Wolverine coming to an end in 2017, this is something which frustratingly may never happen. There is, of course, a chance that the Australian actor is going to make a surprise appearance in Deadpool next year, but seeing these two very different heroes share the screen for an extended period of time would be incredible, as would them coming to blows (just imagine them tearing each other apart while their respective healing factors glue them back together).

Rumour has it that the Deadpool sequel will take the release date currently held by the Fantastic Four sequel, and if Fox were to put The Wolverine 3 in that June slot and move Deadpool 2 to March, this could happen, and Jackman wouldn’t have broken his promise about playing the character for the final time.

It’s definitely unlikely, but stranger things have happened…
