10 Characters Who Need To Be Included In Avengers: Infinity War

Phase 3 is a big deal for Marvel Studios, with the introduction of several new heroes and quite possibly the end of an era for many others as contracts finish up. With big changes on the horizon then, it's fitting that Kevin Feige and company are ending this phase of their movies with the sure to be epic two-part Avengers: Infinity War.

BuckyCap

At the end of the Civil War comic book, Steve Rogers is arrested and later assassinated in an epilogue issue. Shortly after, Bucky takes over the mantle and goes on to have a popular couple of years as the Marvel Universe’s new Captain America.

However, with Chris Evans confirming that he’ll be shooting Avengers: Infinity War next year, those events happening for Sebastian Stan’s version of the former assassin seems unlikely for the time being. Still, it feels like a natural evolution for the character, and if it is ever going to come to pass, it should be after this two-part movie.

Steve sacrificing himself in the battle against Thanos would feel like a huge moment, while Stan could then take over the franchise in a new – and very different – trilogy. It would be a shame to lose Evans of course, but Bucky-Cap (as he’s become known) is downright awesome.
