Minds were blown when the first trailer for Batman V Superman included a shot of Robin’s costume in what was a clear nod to the events of the classic “Death in the Family” storyline. However, the graffiti left on that by The Joker was an even bigger surprise, and fans have since been endlessly debating the ways that the Clown Prince of Crime will factor into this movie (a flashback is the most popular theory right now).
