5) A Glimpse At Darkseid?
The popular theory is that the scene above is a dream sequence (something which was seemingly confirmed by a toy of this version of the Caped Crusader which was labelled, “Knightmare Batman”).
However, while those soldiers decked out with Superman’s iconic logo can be seemingly explained by the Man of Steel going off the deep end and recruiting people to his cause, the flying creatures are a little harder to figure out.
[zergpaid]One possible explanation however is that they’re Parademons, the mindless soldiers of Darkseid, the villain rumoured to be the big bad of Justice League Part One.
If so, this may actually be a glimpse of the future that we’re getting as Earth is ravaged by these monsters; perhaps the only way to stop that is for the heroes to team-up.
